Chicken Chop, Loncong & Asam Gupal

Hi everyone! How was your day? I have uneasy feeling today,sigh.. Maybe because day after tomorrow I'll be back to Melaka. My mental and physical are not fully ready yet :( Tonight, we had chicken chop as our dinner and after that we had 2 desserts,yummmmyy~~ Here's the recipe!

Oriental Sauce

Fried Chicken
French Fries
  • 1 whole chicken ( cut into big pieces- thigh, wing, drumstick)
  • Kentucky flour
  • 5 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 1/2 bottle chili sauce
  • 2 cans red beans
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 basils
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • French fries ( side dish)
  1. Mix kentucky flour to the chicken. Spread well.
  2. Deep fried the chicken in hot oil using large wok.
  3. Meanwhile, saute garlic and onion until light brown.
  4. Add in chilli sauce, red beans and water.
  5. Add in basils and season with salt and pepper. Wait until it simmering.
  6. Using the same oil that you fried chicken, now deep fried the fries.
  7. Enjoy while still hot!

Pulut Kuning

Woohooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Congrats Malaysia!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahaha... We only ate pulut kuning for our dinner, just because of the color, YELLOW ! :D

Famous Amos Cookies

Hi everyone! Sorry sorry sorry for the late update. I'm a busy woman today as I had to do many things just now before I went back to Melaka this Saturday. Huwaaa... My semester break only left 2 days more,haihhhh... Okay, back to our main topic. Have you been craving for Famous Amos cookies but you can't get them on the spot? Okay, I got good news, from now on, you can bake your own - 100% - Famous Amos cookies! These cookies are our-must-cookies every year during Raya celebration. This recipe is so awesome! Try it out ladies!


  • 2 cups unsalted butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 cups oatmeal ( finely blended)
  • 24 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 18 oz chocolate bar of your favorite ( grated)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups nuts of your choice ( chopped - I used walnut, pecan and chestnut )
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Cream the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well.
  4. Add grated chocolate, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well.
  5. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a baking pan.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees C.

Sweet and Sour Lala

Hi! How was your day? Sorry for the late update, hehehe.. Tonight we had sweet and sour lala again but the taste is more spicy than before. But, we ate with fried rice. Lala is our current favorite,hehehe..  Here's the recipe! 



  • 2kg lala
  • 7 cloves garlic 
  • 3 inches ginger 
  • 1/2 bottle of chili sauce
  • 15 chilies padi
  • salt and sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour + water (for thicken)


  1.  Saute garlic, ginger and chilies padi until golden brown.
  2. Pour the chili sauce and corn flour into the pan.
  3. Put salt to taste.
  4. Put the lala and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serves with  fried rice.

Crispy Waffle

Good morning everyone! I hope its not too late for me to wish you good morning, hehehehe.. Its finally raining after a few days back we had sunny day. Today I had waffle for my breakfast. The ingredients are same with the ingredients that I used for fluffy pancake. You just need to have waffle iron! I like my waffle to be crispy at the edges. Some people like to eat with honey or jam, but I like it to serve with ice cream. So here's the recipe!

  • 1 cup flour ( I use all-purpose flour)
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch soda bicarbonate 
  • A pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk (fresh milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  1. Preheat you waffle iron
  2. Mix well the dry ingredients ( flour, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, salt and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add in egg, milk, vanilla essence and oil.
  4. Whisk the batter until there are no lumps.
  5. Pour the batter in the hot waffle iron. Close the iron and cook till golden brown.
  6. Do not stack as it will make them soggy.
  7. Enjoy the hot waffle with your favorite jam, butter or ice cream!

Chocolate Moist Cake

Hi again! For the past few days, I've been craving for chocolate. I ate everything that have chocolate flavor. So, today I decided to bake chocolate cake. Actually I was thinking to make chocolate lava @ chocolate volcano. Have you heard or try this kind of cake? So delicious, so marvelous, the gooey inside of the cake make me  ahhhh yummyy yummyyy~~ That gooey thing makes me want to bake it. But, when I googled, I have to use ramekins to bake it. Actually, I still can use muffin tins, but I just want to have the perfect gooey chocolate lava. So, I hold on then I made decision to bake chocolate moist cake. So, here's the recipe!



For  cake:
  • 2 cups plain flour (sifted) 
  • 2 cups caster sugar 
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder (sifted)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon soda bicarbonate (sifted)
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 eggs ( grade B)
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • A pinch of salt
  1. Beat the eggs and caster sugar. 
  2. Add in the butter and salt.
  3. Add in the sifted ingredients, corn oil, evaporated milk and boiling water alternately. Mix the ingredients well.
  4. Grease the round cake pan with butter then pour the mixture into the pan.
  5. Bake it with 180 degree C for 45 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool before you put the topping.
For topping:
  • 1 bar of cooking chocolate
  • 1 small box of whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon of corn oil
  1. With double boiling, melt the chocolate.
  2. Add the whipping cream and corn oil.
  3. Pour on the completely cool cake and smooth using spatula.

French Toast

Hi everyone! I'm sure everybody so proud to Malaysian right? Last night our team won against Garuda team, hehehe.. But, they still have to struggle for the last game. Good luck guys! Back to main topic, today I had french toast for my breakfast. Just a simple dish yet delicious =)



  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup fresh milk
  • 4 slices bread ( cut into half)
  • Butter
  1. Beat eggs and milk together until well mixed.
  2. Dip each side of bread into egg mixture allowing the bread soak the mixture.
  3. Melt butter in a pan.
  4. Fry the dipped bread on medium-heat. Fry them until both side turn to brown.
  5. Serve hot with butter, maple syrup or jam of your choice.
